Glowing Praise for Paraíba Tourmaline
Paraíba tourmaline is known for its neon color caused by trace amounts of copper and manganese. This gem was first discovered in Paraíba, Brazil by Heitor Dimas Barbosa who spent years digging, convinced that the ground beneath him hid something truly special. And it did! More than five years later, he came upon incredibly rare electric blue to greenish-blue gems, which are treasured around the world.
